When
You get the gear the day before your trip at no extra cost, and return it on the last day of your trip.
- Delivery and collection: daily between 10:00 and 20:00. Tell us at checkout if you have a preferred time (for example your arrival time) and we'll do our best. We contact you the day before with a delivery time.
- Útilíf, Skeifan 11d, 108 Reykjavík: Monday–Friday 10:00–18:00, Saturday 10:00–16:00, Sunday 12:00–16:00 (holiday hours may differ).
Don't know your hotel yet?
- Delivery: choose delivery and tick "I don't know my hotel yet" at checkout. We email you 2 days before the delivery day to ask where to deliver. If you'd rather pick up at Útilíf after all, we refund the 3.490 kr.
- Collection: choose collection and tick "I don't know where I'll be yet". We email you 2 days before your last day to ask where to collect. If you'd rather drop off at Útilíf after all, we refund the 3.490 kr.
Missed deliveries and collections
If no one is there when we deliver or collect and you don't answer your phone, we wait 30 minutes and then continue our route. A missed delivery counts as a no-show and isn't refunded. A missed collection is treated as a late return (see Terms of service).
For delays such as cancelled or late flights, contact us as soon as possible on +354 477 7999 or tourvo@tourvo.is and we'll do our best to help. If you haven't contacted us within one hour of a pickup time at Útilíf, the booking may be marked as a no-show.
We never leave gear outside, and gear can't be left outside for us to collect. In some cases we can agree to leave it inside, for example in a reception, storage room or entryway; you're then responsible for it once we've left it.
